Biography

Wendy McIntyre describes her songwriting as heartfelt, thought provoking and classic. “I am a soul-child reborn… tight arrangements, innovation, and elevation of the ever-changing genre called R&B.”

She is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter, appearing in DC area events and showcases such as the AFRAM Fest, the National Black Family Reunion Celebration, and the Festival of Pride. She has collaborated with top area producers such as Illusive Productions and Groove Control Entertainment. Most recently collaborations with Carl Rushing have captured her growth as a lyricist and landed her on the soundtrack for My Big Fat Hip Hop Family which has been featured in this year’s Miami Film Festival.

You can expect to see Ms. McIntyre organizing, promoting and performing at events in the weeks to come.
